Song Management
Build and manage your song catalog so guests can browse and pick their favorites.
Where to Get Karaoke Tracks
KaraokeQ does not provide music — you need to bring your own karaoke tracks. Here are some popular sources:
- Karaoke Version (karaokeversion.com) — Large catalog of custom backing tracks in multiple formats.
- Sunfly Karaoke — Professional karaoke tracks widely used by DJs and venues.
- Sing King — YouTube-based karaoke channel with a large free selection.
Importing Songs via CSV
The fastest way to add songs is to upload a CSV file. Your CSV should have two columns:
title,artist
Bohemian Rhapsody,Queen
Don't Stop Believin',Journey
Sweet Caroline,Neil Diamond
To upload, go to Dashboard → Event → Songs → Upload CSV. The system will parse the file and add all songs to your catalog.
Adding Songs Manually
You can also add songs one at a time from the song management page. This is useful for adding individual songs after your initial import, or if you have a small catalog.
Supported Formats
For local playback on the singer display, any standard video format works:
MP4Most common — works everywhereMKVGood for high-quality encodesAVILegacy format — still supportedWebMOptimized for web playback
Audio-only formats (MP3, WAV) also work if you do not need on-screen lyrics.
